Tickets for the EHS Drama Club's production of, "Almost, Maine" are on sale now! Performances are November 13th-16th. Tickets $5.25 for Students/Senior Citizens $10.50 for Adult General Admission November 13th @ 6 pm 14th & 15th @ 7 pm 16th @ 2 pm Almost, Maine, written by John Cariani, is a play that dives into the depth of human relationships: happiness, loss, anger, insecurity, regret, hope, and relief. The story is told in nine scenes by the residents of a rural community in northern Maine. Connected by the winter, their remote location and the northern lights the characters reveal their deepest and truest thoughts about love, what it means to love, and how to love.

MAJESTIC THEATER PRESENTS STEEL MAGNOLIAS NOVEMBER 13 - 30 West Springfield’s Majestic Theater will present the second production of its 28th season when Steel Magnolias takes the stage October 23 through November 30. The Majestic Theater is located at 131 Elm Street in West Springfield, MA.
Steel Magnolias, written by Robert Harling, blends humor with moments of emotional depth. Set in a small southern beauty salon, the play showcases a group of strong-willed women who navigate life’s challenges with sharp humor and unfiltered honesty. From snappy one-liners to playful gossip, the women’s interactions are full of comedic moments, with characters using laughter as a coping mechanism in the face of life’s toughest trials. The 1987 play inspired a hit 1989 film that starred Sally Field, Shirley MacLaine, Dolly Parton, Olympia Dukakis, Daryl Hannah and Julia Roberts.
The Majestic Theater’s Producing Director Sue Dziura will direct the play. Alexandra O’Halloran is stage manager, and Michael Garcia is assistant stage manager. Scenic designer is Juliana Von Haubrich and Dawn McKay is costume designer. Dan Rist is lighting designer, and Marcus Kearns is production manager.
The cast includes Maconnia Chesser (Clairee), Cate Damon (M’Lynn), Kait Rankins (Annelle), Angela Dias (Ouiser), Elaine Hom (Truvy), and Raya Malcolm (Shelby). Understudies include Myka Plunkett, Rachel Lamarre and Laurie Nickerson.

Based on Little Orphan Annie, the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie has become a worldwide sensation. Winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical, the beloved show features a wonderful score written by Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, including the Broadway smash hit “Tomorrow”. With a perfect combination of street-smarts and optimism, Annie warms the hearts of the audience as we witness her rise from next to nothing in New York City. She is determined to find her parents, who left her at the orphanage years ago. Though things don’t quite work out the way she has planned, she does manage to thwart the plans of the evil Miss Hannigan and find a new family with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his secretary Grace Farrell, and her lovable pooch, Sandy.Rating: G Run Time: 2 hours (one intermission) Note: Strobe and special lighting effects will be used throughout the show
